We work to make it easier to live, grow, and meet with the vision - Timrå, a strong municipality in a growing region!

Description

We are looking for an assistant nurse for our staffing pool, for work during days, evenings, and weekends. The pool consists of ten positions where work occurs during days, evenings, and weekends. In addition, there are also three positions for night work (which we are not recruiting for at the moment).

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse in the pool, your workplace will vary from day to day. The assignment involves substituting for staff who are absent for various reasons, such as illness or childcare. You may also be an extra resource as needed within any of the units. You need to enjoy the variation in different workplaces; you might start the morning at one unit and be somewhere else in the afternoon.

Working in our assistant nurse pool places high demands on flexibility, responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism. You will work within home care, nursing homes, and to some extent within support and care housing/LSS.

We expect you to perform care and service tasks based on planned visits and alarms from individuals. Job responsibilities also include performing health and medical tasks delegated by licensed healthcare professionals such as district nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, according to health and medical legislation. Your work is based on a person-centered and rehabilitative approach with the individual's self-determination in focus. You will work in teams with various professional roles to provide the user with the best possible support based on their needs and circumstances.

Documentation is an important task, and you are responsible for documenting events concerning the user in social documentation according to applicable legislation. This means you must express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and have computer skills. Documentation is done in LifeCare.

You will have a schedule; the pool is booked by the staffing unit, and the assignment includes flexibility regarding shift changes based on the needs of the operation. When working in the pool, a salary supplement of 3000 SEK/month applies, which compensates for shift changes (time shift supplement). Currently, work occurs 2 out of 5 weekends.

Timrå has begun work on staffing economics, and schedules will change more significantly than before to reflect the needs of the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse with a certificate of protected professional title issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. We prefer that you have previous experience working as an assistant nurse in elderly care.

We expect you to be able to receive delegation and perform many different delegated tasks such as medication handover, insulin, feeding tubes, tracheostomy care, wound dressings, various catheter-related delegations, and perform training, among others.

You need to be meticulous, responsible, and easy to work with. You should have a professional attitude and express yourself well in speech and writing.

You are calm and secure and have the ability to plan the activities of your shift and can quickly adapt and change interventions based on changing circumstances. You are responsible and can work independently as well as in a group.

A driver's license and a car are required as you need to get to the units where you are booked. Travel in the service is compensated through travel reimbursement.

We want you to contribute to our operations being conducted and developed in the best way possible. We look forward to your application!
